Joining Kite en Ré means becoming part of a community of riders passionate about kitesurfing and wing foiling, who get together on the spots of the north of the island. Membership is open to everyone, whatever your level or sport.

Why join?
Safety and common sense on the water
Right-of-way rules, safety distances, gear marking: our rules are checked, illustrated and kept up to date, with a CROSS emergency contact always visible. Joining means becoming part of a community that takes safety seriously — and that reports, shares and learns from incidents that happen on our spots.
Live weather and tides
Real wind, forecasts, tides: on a single page, without cross-checking five apps before heading out on the water.
A calendar of your upcoming sessions
Subscribe your personal calendar (Google, Apple, Outlook…) and watch upcoming wind windows appear automatically, without having to think about it.
An active WhatsApp group
Chat live with other riders: today's conditions, who's riding where, gear tips, questions from beginners.
Member directory, forum and classifieds
Find association members, chat on the forum and browse classifieds between riders — spaces reserved for members.
Gear trials and coaching between members
Depending on the season, the association organises gear trial days (kites, foils) and coaching sessions — safety, skill-building, getting beginners started. Run by association volunteers, not a kite school: subject to availability, with no guaranteed schedule.
Pricing
Annual membership
€15
Full membership of the association, valid for the current season. Gives access to the association's group sessions, the syncable session calendar, the WhatsApp group, the forum and classifieds between members, as well as gear trial and coaching days when organised. Open to all levels, in both kitesurfing and wing foiling.
Reduced rate
€10
The same benefits as annual membership, at a reduced rate for students and under-18s, on proof (student card or ID).
Non-riding member
€10
To support the association without riding: access to information, the forum and association life, but without taking part in group sessions or gear/coaching days, which are reserved for riding members.
